Corazón de Papel deals with the transit of people who died during the passage of Hurricane María through Puerto Rico in September 2017. Esteban, teacher and writer, has lost his job, his inspiration and the illusion of living. The thousands of unaccounted dead people visit him and whisper their stories of the events that the hurricane brought, including the absence of an effective response to the emergency of the lack of electricity, food, drinking water and medicines. An original theater piece that experiments with the dance of the Afro-Caribbean bomba in conjunction with art projections and the creation of paper sculpture on stage.
