No Trailer is an immersive and elevated sketch show. However, every sketch in No Trailer is a trailer for a movie that does not exist. In this high energy show, the movie trailer becomes a means to confront social, political and cultural realities as well as imagine alternative empowering realities. This ensemble-devised sketch show of "fake trailers" draws from the aesthetics and histories of movie trailers and Chicano, Latin American and Latino cinema. The title No Trailer is a nod to Chicano performance art collective ASCO and their No Movie (Stars) series.
